I had such a great time shooting Alyssa's senior photos last week! She was SO much fun, and brought along her sister and a friend, which is always more fun. Isn't her prom dress the coolest?!?! I loved it!
We started the session at Deming Park in Terre Haute and then went downtown and shot some around Indiana Theater. I had told her we were done, then we walked by this alley and we just had to stop. The light was absolutely perfect. This was shot with no flash, no reflector...just really good light.
I love this series. It's just so fun!
Since her sister Katie was with her, we did a few of them together. Aren't they cute? Sisters are so awesome. I don't know what I'd do without mine.
By the way, I also shot Katie's senior photos a couple of years ago. You can see them here. To see more of this session, check out my facebook page. Click "like" while you're there! If you're wanting to schedule your senior photos, click here to contact me. It's not too late for 2012 seniors! You'll have your images a week after your session and the lab I refer you to will have your prints to you in a just a couple of days. So you can have prints in hand 10 days after your session!
When Hillary's mom called me in January to schedule her senior session, I though "wow, it's going to be COLD!" Then we had some really nice weather and I thought we'd be ok but it ended up being about 25 degrees and windy for her session on Saturday. She was a trooper though and you can't even tell how cold she was! Here are a couple from her session, and you can see more on my facebook page. I met with Nicholas (and his twin brother Nathaniel...he's coming up in the next post!) at Fowler Park on Saturday. I tried to be quick, as senior boys are usually not really into the whole senior picture thing! I couldn't have asked for more polite or cooperative boys, though. We were done with both sessions in about an hour and I'm really happy with what we got!
Dylan's mom was the winner of the mini session I donated for a fundraiser at Ernie Pyle Elementary School. I was so excited when she said he wanted his photos done with a tractor and a horse. Dylan, I hope you love these and hope the rest of your senior year is awesome!
Oops! I've been so busy lately I haven't had the time to post anything for a while. Now that things have calmed down a little I'll try to catch up in the next few days. First up is a senior session with Jayde. She is SUCH a beautiful girl, inside and out. I've known her since she was a little girl and I just love her! We did the first part of her senior photos back in the summer in a sunflower field and we did the second half at Fowler Park last week. I just love how these turned out!
I met Jacob and his mom and girlfriend Sunday afternoon at Deming Park for a quick senior session. Jacob, enjoy your sneak peek and have a wonderful senior year!
I had so much fun with Ashley and her mom on Saturday morning! We met at Fairbanks Park, then went to Fowler Park and then walked around downtown. Ashley, I hope you love these and hope you have a wonderful senior year!
OK, so maybe two more :-) I have the hardest time choosing photos for the blog! I love Zach's smile in the first one and the vintage feel of the second, so I'll just use both! Zach was the first session I scheduled after my recent price change. The session fee of $365 now includes a DVD with print release AND a custom-designed hardcover book featuring all the edited images from the session! It used to make me so sad when clients didn't end up choosing ALL their images. I kinda feel bad for the ones left behind! Yeah, I'm a dork. Plus, if it were me, I know I'd want them all. So anyway, I'm happy that Zach (and his parents) will have all his photos and a super cool book to show them off!
I had an awesome time with Zach, his mom and a friend on Saturday evening. I love it when clients have specific ideas in mind, and Zach had a lot! He requested shots in a few locations in dowtown Terre Haute, some with his bike, some with his dog Hank, and some out in a field. I love the shots we got and can't wait to finish editing them!
Katie and I have been talking about her senior photo shoot for a while now, and we finally got to go out last night. After a couple of stops in Clinton, we headed out to Parke County. We stopped in Bridgeton and then a couple of random places on the way back home.
